Assignment Summary
Since 1953 State Fair has been delivering corn dogs to the masses. They are now the leading brand in the highly competitive fully cooked frozen corn dogs market in the U.S., and they want our help preserving their spot at the top!
State Fair has the highest awareness, loyalty and liking brand attribute scores in the category, and their products can be found in all major retailers around the country. They are in direct competition in the corn dogs category with both branded players and private label offerings. In addition to this, State Fair competes against other substantial snack items like chicken nuggets/tenders, hot dogs, frozen pizza, etc.
Your mission, should you choose to accept, will be to create videos that portray “simple family fun” in a contemporary fashion. We are looking for videos that demand viewers’ attention while engaging them with the brand. Submissions can be quirky, funny, progressive and/or slightly edgy with no more than a PG rating. We want you all to really run with this one!
Videos should be :30 – :90, with :60 being optimal. Online will be the intended channel of use. As always, a creative brief will be provided with full project details.
Deadline: To be considered for selection, all videos must be uploaded to Poptent.net by August 8, 2011. Sara Lee will make their purchase selection no later than August 24, 2011.
