With more than 23 million members in the United States and Canada, Netflix is the world's leading Internet subscription service for enjoying movies and TV shows. While they have established a dominant market share in these 2 countries respectively, they are an unknown in Latin America and beyond.

Poised to make a splash in these foreign markets, Netflix has reached out to engage our innovative community of creators to help launch their service internationally. Netflix will be rolling out (streaming only; no DVDs by mail) initially throughout Latin America, allowing consumers to instantly watch unlimited movies and TV episodes, streaming over the Internet to computers and TVs, for one low monthly price.

Targeted toward "YouTube user" type consumers (and the like), your assignment objective is two-fold. First, you will be introducing Netflix to an entirely virgin audience; secondly, you will be explaining exactly how the service works. It's up to you to design some sleek concepts that will engage viewers, deliver key messaging and ultimately help acquire new Netflix customers.

Videos should be :30 and will run on YouTube (and other similar online channels). As always, a creative brief will be provided with full project details.

Please note: Because the videos are meant for an international audience, there should be no direct to camera speaking parts in the videos. Voiceovers and graphics are fine, since they can be easily translated.

Deadline: To be considered for selection, all videos must be uploaded to Poptent.net by August 9, 2011. Netflix will make their purchase selection no later than August 24, 2011.
