PROBLEM:
We all know that obesity is a health crisis in American society—nearly two-thirds of Americans are overweight. But, ironically, pop culture tells us that you have to be stick thin to be beautiful—and that’s not healthy either. (Just look at those glossy magazines featuring waif-like celebrities and models!)
SOLUTION:
Where’s the middle ground? Where’s the voice of reason? Far too many Americans know they need to lose weight but feel that healthy, beautiful weight loss is unattainable. We believe that people should get to their right size, not someone else's; and we want to spark a powerful conversation around this belief.
