Inspired by the ACS's tagline, "The Official Sponsor of Birthdays", this short documentary explores the essence of what a birthday means to a woman through a series of candid interviews with women of different ages and cultural backgrounds. Our film aims to remind people of this special day and the value you add to someone's life by donating towards the fight against cancer.
We believe that this film and the idea behind it can be developed into a social media platform which can engage our audience by encouraging them to submit and share their own birthday stories, images and videos.
Conveying the essence of a birthday through common experiences from people all over the world communicates the importance of the work that the ACS does in its fight against cancer and acts as a strong branding tool, based on real stories, that would encourage donations towards the organization's efforts.
