We decided to take a unique spin on the brief and go straight sitcom style that would appeal to the target audience. We reflect the personalities of the soups within the characters, which we feel is a much more effective way to communicate and market the Campbells line. This generation is used to being sold to, and the way this is constructed is self-aware while bringing a fun, energetic appeal to the brand.
This episode sets up the world and further episodes will introduce the other two main characters. Each future episode will end with a cliff hanger to keep the audience coming back to Campbells Go's social media outlets. It represents a television series on it's own, making it highly shareable.
We used the short title sequence to establish the sitcom feel but can easily be changed and expanded.
We had a lot of fun with this and think it will play very well as an expanded series.
