Started in the business about twelve years ago as a graphic designer for print publications eventually taking the client from print to web with online publications dealing with employee recruitment with a focus on diversity and inclusion programs. From there I expanded my web design and development skills building sites for dozens of clients ranging from small business to mid-level corporations. Many of those clients were dissatisfied with the quality of video work they were getting, so I bit the bullet and invested in SD and HD cameras, underwater housings, editing bays and all the little things that go along with them. Like many, I started doing video work for free to learn the ropes and develop abilities.... spec work also made up a great deal of my initial video work. Soon, paying jobs were coming my way. Started doing video work on and above the water filming dives, offshore sport fishing tournaments, and promotional films for high-end yacht charter companies.
My lifelong passion has been travel and anything to do with the sea. Formed a partnership with another sea-junkie, Bill Boyce, and my girlfriend of 7 years to film and produce a sport fishing/diving/travel show called IGFA Angler's Digest. That took us all around the globe including places like Fiji, Bahamas, Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica and gave me the opportunity to film some amazing scenery on, off and below the water. We wrapped that show in 2008 with an eye out to film another series late 2009 into 2010.
In the meantime, I spend most of my time servicing my existing client base, signing new clients and shooting/editing short promotional videos on a wide variety of businesses and industries. Biggest goal for the next year.... to finish filming and producing a documentary film on the natural wonders of the marine environments of Southern Baja, Mexico and the threats posed by unregulated commercial fisheries on the future health of both the Sea of Cortez and the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
