About Me:

Born in Philadelphia,

went to Episcopal Academy

where I made videos with M Night Shymalan

when we weren't fighting over the same girl...

creative differences compounded by this romantic rivalry

led to a falling out as predictable as one of his twist endings...

( Just kidding, the guy is a genius... a genius that now won't

return my phone calls... )

Before my present existence as a struggling independent filmmaker

teetering on the sharp and rocky edge of success after a few slips into the chasm of failure and detours into the canyon of frustration,

I went to U of Penn and NYU Film,

where I was a finalist in the Student Academy Awards.

After I was superficially affirmed by that piece of paper and a little plastic reproduction trophy, I promptly dropped out of Manhattan's esteemed cinematic school when I was baited into a shouting match with Boris Yakmanikolv, my KGB-affiliated Russian Professor of Advanced Cinematic Obscurity & Pretension who argued at least once a week that KOYANNISQATSI was a cheap and empty piece devoid of not only dialouge and narrative arc, but any redeemable critical quality whatsoever. Since I thought I was pure genius, I deducted that paying a large amount of money to an institution for the privilege of being told what is and is not art was in fact a foolish allocation of such a key resource for the would-be indy filmmaker, so I dropped out, signed over the next semester's tuition check to myself and used to cash to buy my own 35mm Arriflex, with which I made my first feature film. To date, it has grossed a whopping $11.

Undeterred, I soldiered on in pursuit of a life of writing and filmmaking, and, when I wasn't earning an income from such fashionable gigs as wedding videographer and corporate video producer, I wrote a novel, a dozen or so screenplays and another six films along the way. Now, one of them is in Blockbuster and NetFlix, which is cool.

I have a long way to go to catch up to my adolescent nemesis now known as M Night, but as I have grown up, I have realized that the dream, in its' truest form, is not about fame, or money or playing the Hollywood game... it's simply about making films in all forms, and that is why I am here, because ads are a terrific and often overlooked ir misunderstood art form.

Without this site, the big accounts like BUD would be the restricted domain of the McCann Ericksons and the BBDOs of the world. Sincerely, I am very happy that the people behind this site, as well as the people behind the brands, collectively have the intelligence and vision to see the advantage of this type of process for producing ad campaigns... they realize that there a some very talented people outside of the insular ad firm world.

Thanks for the opportunity...

Oh, I have produced 4 star national network prime time

TV programming (www.TheLastGame.com) and I have written or produced advertising material for companies like Comcast & the Home Shopping Network.

Like many others here...

I can think of it, pitch it,

write it, produce and direct it, then edit it... for you.
