Hello, I'm Zack Scott, and thanks for checking out my Poptent profile. My interest in videos was sparked in 2005, and since then I've been prolific enough to produce over one hundred of them. They usually vary in substance and quality, but I try to make each one entertaining. Most focus on comedy, education, or even my cute pets.
My online video hobby has branched off into a professional interest as well. I have been active in the world of consumer generated advertising, and I am a member of the XLNTads Creator Advisory Board. I love the idea of working with a company to create something uniquely my own while promoting a brand. A great example is my "Mentos Gremlins Parody" video that was made possible thanks to Mentos. - I post as ZackScott on many video sites. I have produced over 100 videos that have been viewed over 16 million times total.
- Currently, I have over 17,000 subscribers on YouTube.
- Recently, I was featured on the front page of The Oklahoman newspaper with an article about my video work.
- A clip from "Attacked by a McCain Supporter" was recently featured on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer on CNN! This marks the first time my online work has been on television.
- My videos have been featured on the front pages of YouTube, MetaCafe, Digg, eBaum's World, StupidVideos, MySpace, Break, LiveVideo, Revver, and Veoh.
- I am one of the highest earning producers on Metacafe. I have been active on the site since it first launched its Producer Rewards program.
- My most popular video is "Amazing Nintendo Facts" which has been viewed over 2.5 million times.
- I enjoy entering contests. I won five prizes (including second place) in Stephen Bochco's Cafe Confidential contest sponsored by American Apparel. I also won prizes for the following XLNTads contests: Brand Affinity Technologies, The Amazing Pitch, XLNT ChocoBana, XLNT XCell, and ProQuo.
