Andrew Laurich is a Los Angeles based writer/director. He recently completed four pilot episodes of a narrative web series titled, FACELIFT, which he wrote and directed. The series was produced in conjunction with Caviar LA, a production company based in Los Angeles, Brussels and Amsterdam. The series chronicles the lives of a lonely accountant and the face that grows on his stomach.

Along with directing, Andrew has been developing a non-scripted reality TV project with producing partner Greg Corbin and Cal Boyingtion at QED Television.

Over the past year, Andrew has directed commercials and virals for ContagiousLA, an internet marketing company based in Los Angeles. One of which, PHONE SEX, a commercial for YouMail, was recently ranked in the top 10 best “sexy” ads by Celador, a UK-based television and production company.

In late 2006, Andrew began editing for Sam Raimi’s, Ghost House Pictures. Since then, Andrew has been involved with projects for DreamWorks, Sony, Anonymous Content, and 60 Frames.

Born in Detroit, Andrew graduated from the University of Michigan‘s Department of Film and Video Studies with numerous accolades in both writing and directing. He moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and started work as a PA at Anonymous Content.

Andrew currently resides in Santa Monica, CA with his two goldfish, Camper and Smith.*
